Day 01 Arrive - Cochin : By Air


This morning pickup from your privet address and transfer to Airport for fly to Cochin- Known for its well balanced ecosystem. With its wealth of historical associations and its setting on a cluster of islands and narrow peninsulas, the city of Cochin perfectly reflects the eclecticism of Kerela. On arrival meet our representative and transfer to Hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Cochin including The Dutch Palace at Mattancherry is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town. The St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. Day 02 Cochin - Munnar : By surface apprx. 05 hrs


This morning after breakfast your exploration of South India continues as you travel to Munnar “breathtakingly beautiful” a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in Kerala. Its is one of the most popular hill stations in India, Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at 1600 mts above sea level.Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, make Munnar a unique experience. Munnar is essentially a tea town and the visitor is greeted with miles and miles of unending tea plantations on entry into Munnar. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India - Anamudi - which towers over 2695 mts and is an ideal spot for campers who like to do some trekking.

Day 04 Munnar - Periyar (Thekkady)

This morning after breakfast your exploration of South India continues as you travel to Thekkady, located on the Tamil Nadu / Kerala border. This unique Wildlife Sanctuary is about three hundred square miles and centered around an artificial Lake fed by the Periyar river. On arrival check-in at hotel.
Afternoon Game viewing this morning is on board boats, which carry you along convoluted waterways and afford sighting of Elephant, bison, deer and occasionally, TIGER. All manner of flora & fauna flourish in this tropical habitat, making it one of the premiere reserves of Southern India. Overnight at Periyar.

Day 05 Periyar (Thekkady)

Morning after breakfast sightseeing tour of Thekkady. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Periyar (Thekkady) - Kumarakom (Boat)

Morning after breakfast transfer to deluxe houseboat to enjoy the backwater cruise from Kumarakom to Alleppey. The House boat will reach Back water resort were you will be staying previous night This journey is considered to be one of the best attractions. The house boat is fully furnished with single and double bedrooms, sundeck, private balcony and a kitchen. It also comprises a chef, Oarsmen & cabin assistant.
