Arrival Bagdogra; Drive Bagdogra – Darjeeling ( 95 Kms – 03 Hrs )

Meeting and assistance on arrival in Bagdogra airport and proceed on your drive to Darjeeling which Standing high in the Himalayas at an altitude of 2134m, ‘Dorje Ling’, or place of the Thunderbolt, offers breathtaking views of Snow-capped mountain peaks, with the Kanchendzonga rising higher than all the others. Often referred to as the “Queen of the Hills”, it remains just as alluring with its tiny waterfalls, little villages and a narrow gauge railway track. Surrounded by World Famous Tea Gardens and snow-capped mountains

Early Morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. It is truly a majestic sight and Ghoom Monastery which is oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height on the way back from Tiger Hill.

Post Breakfast drive towards Darjeeling Railway Station to board your TOY TRAIN for Ghoom (7,407ft) the train will departs from Darjeeling Station (6,812ft) at 9 AM and it reaches back Darjeeling at 12 PM approximately. Your enjoy a short journey from Darjeeling to Ghoom. This journey includes just 7 kilometers of distance and one can either walk or take bus, taxi or train in order to return Darjeeling.

Later visit Tea Estate which is located 7kms before Mirik and on Siliguri-Mirik-Darjeeling route. The resort is a 3-storied luxury bungalow with modern amenities yet offering old world charm, and surrounded by lush tea bushes all around. You can get wonderful views of tea gardens, Mirik valley and even Nepal for that resort.

In evening return back to Darjeeling, evening free for independent activities

Drive to Kalimpong, a small scenic town famous for its beautiful monastery ( 60 Kms / 3 Hrs )

Experience tranquillity in your tour with a visit to the peaceful town of Kalimpong, Drive to Kalimpong, the beautiful hill town which is a meeting point of the ‘three closed lands’ and was once on the trade route between Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan.
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kalimpong which includes a nursery known for its orchids, rarest cacti and gladioli - Visit of Dharmadaya Vihar, Tharpa Choling Monastery and the Thongsa Gumpha – Evening free to stroll around the market for shopping handicraft

Early morning breakfast – Visit to Zong Dog Palri Fo - Brang Monastery. There is a small hillock beyond the monastery where one can visit and enjoy beautiful sunrise from Durbin Dara, its also a birding point - Visit of Dharmadaya Vihar, Tharpa Choling Monastery and the Thongsa Gumpha - Trip to any of the Gompa is a refreshing feeling – One day trek or one can go for river rafting in river Teesta are all optional and can be arranged - This is available all year round except during Monsoon.

Drive Kalimpong to Jaldapara ( 140 Kms / 03 ½ Hrs )

Early morning breakfast – Visit to Dr Graham's Home – Dello – Drive to Jaldapara - 140 kilometers / 3 ½ hours - Pleasant climate round the year, these entire foothills of eastern Himalayan region has six National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries, one of them is Jaldapara - Exotic fauna includes Royal Bengal Tiger, Gaur, Leopard, Sambar, Chital, Hog Deer, Barking deer, one horned Rhino, Bison etc, it is a paradise for bird watchers - Bengal Florican, hornbill, racket - ailed drongo, paradise flycatcher, etc can be spotted here - Lunch on the way or in Hotel

In Jaldapara

Exciting elephant safari early in the morning, the ride is the best possible way to explore the sanctuary – Back to resort for breakfast - A Jeep safari for a longer period of time and a far greater distance is available - These are subject to availability and prior booking - May 15 to September 15 the park remains closed for visitors. Among the fauna the one-horned rhinoceros, tigers, wild elephants, sambhar, barking deer, spotted deer, hog deer, wild boar, bison and a number of birds - It is a birder's paradise, pigeons, cuckoos, wood peckers and thrushes are common, even the rare Bengal Florican, hornbill, racket-tailed drongo and paradise flycatcher can be spotted.

Drive Jaldapara to Bagdogra ( 140 Kms / 03 ½ Hrs ) Departure Bagdogra.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport Bagdogra to catch your flight for onward journey.
